This dance style comes from the Aztecs people but renewed by groups of street dancers from Monclova or Saltillo Coahuila - Mexico.

This style of dance was invented on the streets.

  • • Learn how to play Guacharaca & Guiro instruments.

  • • Guacharaca is a percussion instrument found in Colombia. It is a rasp named after a bird. Ortalis guttata whose call it is said to imitate the sound.

  • • Guacharacas provide a steady rhythmic backbone for all varieties of Vallenato and Cumbia.

  • • Playing the Guacharaca requires rhythm, speed and coordination.

  • • Only 30 min lesson available
